One of the most essential features of the pigeon nursery is hydromechanical cleaning. Under high water pressure, all the dust is washed away, and the rooms, where our pigeons are kept, become virtually brand new. It means that the birds are kept in almost ideal conditions and you don't need any special protective equipment.

Video cameras are installed in the pigeon compartments. They allow you to keep track of the pigeons through a computer system all day long. That's very important, since it can prevent negative situations while the pigeons nest (up to 30 pairs of the birds are kept in a compartment). Video supervision is especially valuable when it's necessary to track the flights of a certain bird.

“Vitamin D” lamps are installed in the nursery. Since the pigeons lack sunlight, the lamps help them keep their healthy outlook.

Our pigeon nursery has large open-air cages that protect the birds from predators. Falcons come to Moscow region to hunt the pigeons. Moreover, open-air cages make it possible for the birds to maintain their flight abilities. For instance, in spring the pigeons are allowed to fly around for a day or two, and they are in good shape. Decorative pigeons are kept separately from sport birds.
